Live, instructor-led training
Eight live sessions across four weeks. Real-time feedback on your own work. Cohorts capped at 20.
Built around the work you already do
You learn AI by applying it to your real deliverables, not by studying it in the abstract. Bring your reports, decks, data, and inbox.
A credential and a finished capstone
Earn the GenAI Practitioner Microcredential from NJIT and leave with work you can use the Monday after 20.
Why This Matters
AI is part of the work now, whether you have used it or not. The professionals who get the most out of it are not the ones who experiment the longest on their own. They are the ones who put in directed practice with expert feedback.
Free tutorials and self-paced courses introduce you to the tools. They cannot watch what you produce, push back when your prompt is vague, or show you what changes when your own data is in the room. Employees with structured AI training report 40% higher productivity, and the ones who get there did it under instruction, with peers, on real work.
Maintain Your Edge as the Work Changes
This program runs on Anchored Intelligence™, our framework for working with AI. It treats your judgment and expertise as the anchor, and AI as the leverage. The goal is fluency that makes you sharper, not dependent.
Step 1
Put your new AI skills to work the Monday after
The point of this program is what changes in your work the week after it ends. In four weeks, you will have the skill and confidence to apply AI in ways that improve your output, sharpen your judgment, and grow your influence at work.
You will learn how to:
Apply AI on real work, not toy exercises
- ● Every session pushes you to bring your own work into the room
- ● Reports, decks, data, drafts. You leave each class with something usable
- ● Build a personal stack of prompts and workflows that fit your job
Trust your own judgment, not the model's defaults
- ● The program is built to keep you in the expert seat
- ● AI handles more of the work nobody needed you to do
- ● You leave more confident in what only you can bring, not less
Lead AI conversations at your organization
- ● Become the person on your team who can teach a workflow, vet a vendor, or shape a policy
- ● Bring back techniques your colleagues can use right away
- ● Close the AI fluency gap between leaders and staff
Stay current as the tools change
- ● Tools change every quarter. The way you think about them does not
- ● Evaluate any new AI tool that lands in your inbox six months from now
- ● The skill you build outlasts the platforms you build it on
Step 2
Earn the GenAI Practitioner Microcredential from NJIT
On completion, you receive a microcredential issued by NJIT’s Learning and Development Initiative. It is a verified, shareable mark of applied AI fluency you can add to LinkedIn, your resume, and your portfolio the day the program ends.
You will also get:
● Direct access to experienced AI practitioners for four weeks
● Live cohort sessions with other working professionals figuring it out alongside you
● A finished capstone you can show
● A peer network you can still call after the program ends
● Tool access guidance for ChatGPT, Gemini, Midjourney, and ElevenLabs
Build real AI skills across the four areas where it shows up at work
Most professionals have seen AI in action. Fewer have built the skill to use it well on work that requires judgment, context, and the right questions. This program gives you applied practice across the four domains where generative AI is part of the job. Our WINS curriculum covers all four: Words, Images, Numbers, Sound. You will learn how to:
Write better, faster, with AI as your thinking partner
- ● Get usable writing out of AI on the first try, not the tenth
- ● Use AI to sharpen your thinking before you draft, not just polish after
- ● Build prompts and workflows you can reuse every week
Create professional visuals without a designer
- ● Turn a rough idea into a finished, brand-aligned image
- ● Build a visual library that looks like it came from one organization, not five
- ● Take on the design work you used to outsource or skip
Turn messy data into decisions you can defend
- ● Pull insights out of long reports and spreadsheets in minutes
- ● Stress-test numbers from multiple perspectives before you present
- ● Catch errors before they reach a leadership audience
Produce voice and audio content without a studio
- ● Generate professional audio for training, marketing, and internal comms
- ● Turn a recorded meeting into a clean set of next steps in minutes
- ● Match voice and tone to the moment

FAQs
Do I need any AI experience to start?
- No. We have had participants who never opened ChatGPT and participants who use it daily. The program starts with the fundamentals and builds from there. Both groups leave with new skill.
How much time will it really take?
- Plan for six to eight hours a week. That covers two live sessions of two and a half hours each, plus practice and capstone work in between. The practice between sessions is what makes the live sessions stick.
What if I have to miss a session?
- Sessions are recorded and available for makeup. Attend live when you can, because the real-time feedback on your own work is where most of the learning happens. Missing one session is fine. Missing several puts you behind the cohort.
Is it worth $2,000 when there are so many free AI courses?
- Free courses introduce you to the tools. This program teaches you to apply AI to real work, with real feedback on what you produce. You leave with a capstone, a credential, a peer group you can still call after the program ends, and a framework that holds up when the tools change.
Will my employer cover the cost?
- Often, yes. We send you an employer justification document formatted for manager approval the day you ask for it. Many of our participants pay through professional development funds.
Do I need to be technical?
- No. You will not write code or configure anything. You will write prompts, review outputs, and refine your work the way you already refine emails or reports. If you are willing to bring your own work into the room, the program teaches you the rest.
Can I bring my company's data into the program?
- It depends on your organization's policies. We teach you how to use AI tools while keeping sensitive data protected, but we recommend you check with your IT or compliance team before using any AI tool with confidential information. We can provide a one-pager to help that conversation.
What is the refund policy?
- Full refund if you withdraw before the first session. After that, refunds are reviewed case by case.
